By Beverly Bradstock, consultant –

Our client was stumped. Her leadership program for a group with very diverse job titles that was also dispersed across the company’s geographic locations wasn’t producing the desired results.

She struggled to understand why she couldn’t get the group to achieve what she called “the magic” that they needed to work together effectively. Her approach had relied on using several respected assessments, but still, something was missing.

We put together a quarterly meeting to support a year-long engagement, in which we ran a variety of assessments and learnings to address the key needs – team building, change style, influence style, etc.

The Leadership Nexus was used at the very beginning of the year-long engagement and it paid off.

The Leadership Nexus “plays well” with other assessments.

Our client was amazed at the amount of change she observed within the very same group – because their approach was now different. She told me she’d never seen so much growth in her group as she had seen that year.

How did this happen?

The Leadership Nexus is unique in its approach. It draws people’s attention to the balance between thought time and action time while doing their work.

Each individual came to understand the need to balance thought with action. And by seeing clearly where they scored in the moment and where they needed to be in the future, each person became more focused. This made the group more cohesive.

I saw how The Leadership Nexus “plays well” with other assessments. Using it up front in the year-long program brought the magic that our client had been missing.
